Railed public transport existed in Ipswich for nearly 46 years, first with horse power and subsequently electric traction. The latter had a relatively short life of less than 23 years when compared with many other municipalities operating trams and were replaced by trolleybuses. This publication provides a photographic record of the trams at work along the routes they served illustrating atmospheric scenes of late Victorian and early Edwardian life in this county town.

Blackpool's trams are a national treasure. This book commemorates 75 years since the entry into service of the first of a fleet of streamlined trams, a type that has long been so enduring and the most of the tram fleet in Blackpool today is derived from these 1930s designs. Through these pages, take a bracing 12 mile trip along the Promenade and the cliffs from Star Gate to Fleetwood as it was between the 1930s and the 1960s
